Each child has their own personal cubby. In their cubby, we ask that they keep a full change of clothing for any spills or accidents that may occur. We also require a sheet and a blanket for nap time. Any other items you feel are necessary to comfort your child are, of course, welcome.

This reinforces a child’s good feeling about his/her behavior and serves as an example to the other children. For a child not listening or cooperating, the child is seated by a teacher and reminded of acceptable behavior. The next tactic used for a child who is continually demonstrating unacceptable behavior is a period of time out. This time out is not a punishment, but a time for the child to calm down and remember what is acceptable behavior.
